2018 Subaru BRZ
Last year, you might be surprised with the quantity of changes in the previous Subaru BRZ. The company has done many improvements to deal with the current demand and annually, Subaru as the Korean automaker created more than 500,000 units to sell for US market and one of the most popular sales record is the predecessor of 2018 BRZ.
As we already told you that the company gives extensive updates for the previous models and it sounds that they wouldn’t offer any radical changes in 2018 Subaru BRZ because the design can be said is still new and fresh. It is only important for Subaru to redesign the car in 2019 model which can be launched in the end of 2018. The coil springs and dampers will be updated and the rear stabilizer bar is larger than before. The chassis is also reinforced and the rear wheel will be increased to give better rigidity. To improve handling, the company will redesign the stability control too. The front fascia, wheels, rear garnish, LED headlights and taillights as well as the fender garnish will give a new look to the car.
Inside, the steering wheel infotainment controls will be added for the first time and automatically this makes the new 2018 Subaru BRZ is totally different from before. It is also designed with 4.2-inch of LCD multifunction display close to the dash. It shows you all information about accelerator pedal position, braking force, oil and water temperature, steering angle, battery voltage and stop watch. What is more is that the limited model will get optional performance package such as manual transmission, brembo calipers, large rotors for front and rear brakes, fade resistance, pedal feel and boosting stopping power. All four corners will get performance shock absorbers to improve ride and enhance the cornering.
The possible engine to use is 2.0 liter Boxer with the support of new valves, camshaft as well as cylinder heads. The company also will increase the air flow by using new aluminum intake manifold while the exhaust manifold is redesigned. This engine is capable to offer higher output than before which is about 205 hp and 156 lb-ft of torque for 2018 Subaru BRZ. The acceleration is also improved with the use of manual transmissions.
Release Date and Price
As usual, Subaru takes the same action like other automakers. They don’t want to reveal many things about their new cars. It sounds like they let all rumors to raise their cars highly for its popularity. But we are pretty sure that the new 2018 Subaru BRZ might be launched in the end of 2017 with the competitive price tag.
