2018 Maserati Ghibli
With the high concern on its technology and feature improvements, you wouldn’t regret at all to anticipate the new 2018 Maserati Ghibli. The company also has a highlight for its engine update. Many reports mentioned that it will be introduced at 2016 Paris Motor Show.
You might think that the exterior has the same look as the previous model but some small upgrades will be added to make it fresh. It doesn’t get much changes so don’t expect something radical. It is still similar to the previous model but the Carbon package might complete the outer part as well as the trunk spoiler, outside mirrors, door handles and Pillar or C-pillar covers for 2018 Ghibli.
There will be two new variants to offer which will be Sporty and Luxury. The Sporty model will go with sports steering wheel, red brake calipers, 12-way power sports seats, Skyhook Adaptive suspension and 20-inch of Urano machine polished wheels. For the Luxury model, they will go with 12-way power comfort seats integrated with memory function, exclusive Zegna Edition silk interior or Full Premium Leather interior, black brake caliper and 19-inch of Poseidon wheels. The all variants are designed with Air Quality Sensor but it is upgradeable with Advanced Driver Assistance System package, auto emergency braking, forward collision warning, lane departure warning and advanced brake assist. In addition, it will go with blind spot alert, optional surround view camera and adaptive cruise control with Stop/Go control for 2018 Maserati Ghibli.
2018 Maserati Ghibli for the next is about the engine. It seems that they will use the same engine, but there is an improvement to provide better output than before. They will go with Ferrari twin-turbocharged 3.0 liter and V6 engine to produce about 350 hp which means it is about 20 hp more than the previous model. This engine will be mated to eight-speed ZF auto transmission with two-wheel drive design or Quattro all-wheel drive. By using this engine, it is capable to accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 5.5 seconds for standard and it is 5 seconds for the S variant with 410 hp while the Q4 variant can reach it in 4.8 seconds. Buyers can go with diesel engine in two variants that will provide 250 hp and 275 hp with the same 442 lb-ft of torque.
