To come out as the special high-performance model in 5-series sedan, the new 2018 BMW M5 will be your favorite vehicle. Although there are some engine solutions that are capable to fight with this sedan, we have to say that it has a complete package from its outside, inside and performance. The company has a great job to create it in a perfect design and it seems almost far away from mistakes. Its presence has been there since 1986 and it took three decades to make it popular on the global market. It seems that they have no plan to create hybrid version because the weight doesn’t support good handling, not its performance.

Exterior

The exterior is quite good with the support of its technology. As far as we know, it will use modular CLAR platform that will cut the weight for about 220 lbs from the current. To do this, they will sue new carbon fiber. For the styling, it is obviously clear that it is inspired by the new 7-Series. As a result, it has wide and low bumper with the rear that has diffuser to give road-holding support. It also has proper full carbon fiber roof together with other updates for 2018 M5.

Interior

2018 BMW M5 is expected to have rich technology features as usual, but we think the most important part that the company should have high concern is on how to give big pleasure for high level of driving experience. We only can wait that they will give us few new features to give high excitement for its infotainment, entertainment and security systems.

Engine

The lightweight bodywork will be completed with the existing twin turbo V8 engine so it is capable to provide more outputs. It can reach even more than 600 BHP and 516 lb-ft of torque power. The great combination of power and lightweight design makes it to be the unbeatable sedan in its class. 2018 BMW M5 will also receive xDrive system together with all-wheel drive system as the optional and rear-wheel drive for standard. The output will be sent through seven-speed dual clutch auto transmission but they don’t confirm yet whether or not they will use manual option.

Release Date and Price

Up to now, we are still waiting the official confirmation, but we have nothing in hands. We rely on rumors that the new 2018 BMW M5 will be ready somewhere in 2017. We expect it should happens in the end of 2017 with the price tag about $95,000 – $100,000.
